Colleen received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in April 2016 at A2 Yoga in Ann Arbor, MI. Her teaching is based in Core Strength Vinyasa principles.
Movement has been an integral part of Colleen’s life for as long as she can remember. It wasn’t until she became a Physical Training Leader while serving in the Air Force that she realized bringing movement and health to others was her path. She studied Exercise Science at Oakland Community College for four years to better educate herself on how the body moves and functions at the cellular as well as the superficial levels.
As a lifelong student, Colleen continues to educate herself by attending workshops and immersion trainings. She brings a light-hearted energy to all her classes while still encouraging her students to challenge themselves on and off the mat. The message she sends to her students is clear – yoga is for every body, no exceptions.
